HEIMA Artist Residency – call for applications

Heima is a multidisciplinary art residency for emerging and established artists located in Seyðisfjőrður East Iceland. The physical space is a 350 square meter combined house and studio/exhibition space.

In 2017/2018 Heima will offer multiple residency periods, each involving six artist carefully curated. The program offers completely free access to Heimas facilities for fifty days.
We encourage applications from a wide range of artists of different cultural and geographic backgrounds. We are open for applications for all phases – from initial research to finishing works.

The next three residency periods, for which applications are open, are:

A. Dates ——> 01.10.2017 – 20.11.2017

B. Dates ——> 01.12.2017 – 20.01.2018

C. Dates ——> 01.02.2018 – 23.03.2018

Residency fee is 150.000 ISK. 
The residency fee is to be paid in advance and is non-refundable. 
Residents must provide for their own food, travel, and miscellaneous expenses.

Sundaymorning@ekwc invites artists, designers and architects to apply for a residency. A residency at Sundaymorning@ekwc offers creative professionals from all over the world the opportunity to focus on ceramics and expand their knowledge of techniques and materials. During twelve weeks state-of-the-art facilities, a staff of advisors and the company of fellow artists will surround you. Deadline for the application is the 29th of June 2017. Concerning residencies from November 2018 on to December 2019.
