This year’s TaDA Spinnerei takes place in collaboration with the TaDA partner organisation Empa. The event will start at 10 a.m. with a guided tour of Empa, with a focus on laboratories that have been particularly used during TaDA residencies. A conversation between Empa staff and two TaDA residents will conclude the morning.
In the afternoon, the artists and designers who have been working in Eastern Switzerland since September 2022 will give an insight into their projects. In an exchange with the partner companies TaDA.
The third part is about “Sustainable Production”: experts from Switzerland and abroad present their ideas and interactively discuss with the audience about sustainability in production and the effects on everyday life. Artistic interventions accompany the entire Spinnerei.
An aperitif will be served at the end of the event.

CV

Wang Haiyang, geboren 1984 in Shandong, China, lebt und arbeitet derzeit in Peking.

Wang Haiyang ist Absolvent der Abteilung für Druckgrafik an der Central Academy of Fine Arts, er nutzt einen multimedialen Ansatz, um die Möglichkeiten seiner künstlerischen Rhetorik zu erweitern.
Seine Arbeiten reflektieren zeitgenössische existenzielle Themen und erforschen durch das Medium des Körpers, Themen wie Identität, Sprache und Lust.
Filme:
Wangs Werke wurden von mehr als 50 internationalen Festivals ausgewählt und von der Kritik gelobt.

• Im Jahr 2010 gewann Wang Haiyangs erster Animationsfilm Freud, Fish and Butterfly den Großen Preis beim Holland Animation Film Fest (HAFF).
• 2012 gewann Wangs Film Double Fikret die Silberne Taube auf dem 55. DOK Leipzig Film Festival (Leipzig, Deutschland).
• Im Jahr 2014 gewann Wang den Jury Nomination Award beim 3. Huayu Youth Award in Sanya, China.

Zu seinen jüngsten Einzelausstellungen gehören:

• Wang Haiyang bei Capsule Shanghai (Shanghai, China) und Wang Haiyang bei White Space Beijing (Beijing, China), beide 2018;
• By Himself bei OCAT in Xi’an, China (2017);
• New Directions: Wang Haiyang im Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) in Peking, China (2016);
• Dynamic Field: Wang Haiyang im Minsheng Art Museum in Shanghai, China (2016).

Noircir Wikipédia est une initiative multilingue qui vise à combler le manque de références, d’articles et d’informations sur l’Afrique et sa diaspora, sa culture et ses personnalités notables, sur Wikipédia. En collaboration avec la Batheauthèque, le projet Noircir Wikipédia donnera un atelier d’initiation à Wikipédia en travaillant sur la thématique de la production artistique, littéraire, philosophique qui dérive du mouvement décolonial.
