Die Fondazione Internazionale per la Scultura vergibt ab 2020 jedes Jahr Stipendien für dreidimensional arbeitende Künstler/innen. Aufenthaltsdauer von Anfang Mai bis Ende Oktober. Die Jury prämiert fünf Künstler/innen, die am CIS leben und arbeiten. Stipendium CHF 1500.- monatlich. Die Künstler/innen haben ein persönliches Atelier zur Verfügung, einen gemeinsamen Werkplatz mit 20 t Kran und drei Werkstätten mit der Ausrüstung für die Bearbeitungen verschiedener Materialien wie Stein (Marmor), Holz und Metall usw. Gewohnt wird in individuellen Apartments im Künstlerhaus im Dorfkern von Peccia.

Call for entries – Artist Residency in Zurich
Deadline for applications: 30 November 2019
The Artist Residency “Freiraum” provides rent-free living in a recently renovated and furnished attic room (ca. 19m2, with a separate kitchen) in the heart of Zurich, as well as the opportunity to network and discuss projects and ideas with the artists of the authors’s collective index. If desired, our collective will also help organize a public event (e.g. exhibition, concert, panel discussion). Since 2010, more than 50 artists from all over the world have profited from the program.The Residency is open to artists of various disciplines and experience. However, priority for the space will be given to artists from abroad who have had little or no support from other sponsors.The Residency lasts over the course of 8 weeks. Please note that guest artists are expected to bear the travel costs and the day-to-day costs during their residency themselves.

The Artists in Residence Programs are aimed at artists (writers, translators, painters, musicians, filmmakers, etc.)  and / or teachers of all nationalities, working in the fields of literature, plastic arts, film, design.

Minimum period: 1 week; maximum: 3 months
Facilities: quiet and culturally stimulating working environment, ideal collaboration space to encourage creativity; rich multilingual library available (ten thousand volumes).
Modern and elegant apartment in the Castagnola area, facing the lake (with bathroom with shower and kitchen), free breakfast/conventions for lunch and dinner, access to the library of the center, private study in the structure of the center, participation in round tables, workshops and seminars of the center, advice 
Weekly cost for 2 persons: 950 CHF
