The programme is available to international as well as local artists—as individuals or in pairs—with a priority for artists engaged in a sculptural practice. The studio is located between other AZB artists’ studios, in an industrial, brick building, with a 9-metre-high vaulted ceiling, large industrial windows and two mezzanines converted into living quarters. The programme is in exchange with other residencies such as Binz39, the Rote Fabrik and Gleis 70. Guests are thereby brought into contact with the local art scene and introduced to the numerous offspaces and museums that form Zurich’s cultural landscape.
