rooms, description: | For the stipendiaries, the Alpenhof will provide for accommodations. The Alpenhof is an inspiring location for a retreat and working, with opportunities for exchange, enjoyment and relaxation. Depending on the bookings, the Alpenhof can be either busily lively or peacefully quiet. For each stipendiary, there is a private double-bedroom available. Bath towels, bed linen, hair dryer, washing machine and dryer are provided.Each stipendiary is given his or her own workspace. In the Alpenhof there are many other rooms and niches for retreat and concentrated work. | |

costs for residents: | The Studio Residency Stipend includes free stay, workspace and meals. | |
additional grant: | Travel costs will be covered. A separate request can be made for an additional subsidy for living costs of up to CHF 500. Each recipient of a studio grant will receive a Half-Fare travelcard for the public traffic in Switzerland. | |

ALLOCATION OF THE STUDIO, CONDITIONS |

allocation by: | The assignment of the studio scholarship takes place by a committee consisting of representatives of the company Alpenhof and the library Andreas Züst. | |
appilcants: | Artists of all disciplines can apply, from Switzerland and foreign countries, individuals or working teams (max. 4 people) with a residence permit for Switzerland. | |
art disciplines: | visual art, literature, new media, music, theatre, design, architecture, film, photo up to applied arts as well as representatives of sciences close to art. | |

duration of stay: | 4 weeks, each time in April and November; the requested duration of stay has to be anounced with the application. APPLICATION DEADLINES Respectively, by 30 April, for the residency in November; and, by 30 September, for the residency in April. Only submittals for the next application deadline will be accepted. |
