„Faux C“ ist eine Ausstellung, die ein Videowerk und eine lange Schriftrolle zeigt, die einander in gleicher Breite gegenüberstehen. Beide Textversionen – in Bewegung und fixiert, sprechend und stumm – entspringen einem Gedichtband über queeres, vielschichtiges Trauern, das die Künstlerin auf subtile Weise zu verschleiern sucht.

Stephanie E. Creaghan ist Videokünstlerin und Filmemacherin mit Sitz in Montréal, Kanada. Stephanies erste Einzelausstellung in New York, That Guy, fand im Herbst 2025 bei D.D.D.D. statt, und Stephanies jüngste Einzelausstellung, The Dailies, II/Au revoir au quotidien! II, ist derzeit bei TOPO (Montréal) zu sehen. Stephanie hat an internationalen Residenzen in Paris, Stolpe/Oder und Wexford teilgenommen und befindet sich derzeit im Atelier Mondial in Residenz.

‘Faux C’ is an exhibition composed of a video work and a long scroll installed at equal width and facing each other. These two versions of text—in movement/fixed, speaking, silent—are derived from a book of poems regarding queer ambiguous grief that the artist seeks to obscure in some way or other.

Stephanie E. Creaghan is a video artist and filmmaker based in Montréal, Canada. Their first New York solo exhibition, That Guy, took place at D.D.D.D. in Fall 2025, and their most recent solo, The Dailies, II/Au revoir au quotidien! II , is currently installed at TOPO (Montréal). They have participated in international residencies in Paris, Stolpe/Oder, and Wexford, and are currently in residence at Atelier Mondial.
